Here is a short explanation of how online Bible Studies will work.
When do we “meet”?
This is an Online Bible Study, meant to be something that each lady can
do as it fits her own schedule. There are no set times to be online
each week. Read when you can. Post in the Facebook Group when you can.
Reply to others when you can.
I
will post a “schedule” of which chapters will go with which weeks, but
otherwise, this is a join at your own pace Bible Study! If you miss a
week, it’s totally ok. You can come back and catch up!!
How does it all work?
The majority of the “study” will take place in our facebook
group, however, to make it easier to keep up with and come back to, I
will also be posting on this blog that will keep everything in date order
(instead of Facebook moving it around everytime a new comment is made).
This blog will NOT have your discussions, just the study information for
the week and questions to think about (and then go answer in the
facebook group).
Each week a new post will be added to our Bible
Study Blog. Once the post is available, it will be posted in the
Facebook group.
Here’s what you need to do:
Read:
- The chapter for the week
- The blog post for the week
Do:
- Go to the Facebook Group and answer the discussion questions for that week.
- Share anything related to the chapter that you would like or ask any
other questions that you would like about the chapter that week.
(Discussion is not limited to the questions posted!)
- Encourage each other by responding to others posts!!
Can other Women Join Us?
Absolutely!! If someone asks you about joining in, send them to the
blog to get started! Everything will stay on the blog so if someone
hears about it late and still wants to join in, they can catch up!!
Add them to the Facebook group or let me know and I will add them. I am
going to keep the Facebook Group as a “Secret Group” however, I do not mind other
women joining us if they are interested.
